Pocketlaw was founded with the idea of building one system for legal, and creating that system remains our vision today. A platform that enables teams to manage contract and legal workflows in a more effective, scalable and user-friendly way by empowering them with intuitive self-serve tools, automation, data and AI.

Our Story
The idea for Pocketlaw was sparked from the personal experiences of childhood friends Olga Beck-Friis and Kira Unger Söderlind. In 2018, Kira worked as an M&A associate at leading business law firm Mannheimer Swartling, witnessing first-hand the negative impact the archaic processes of the legal industry had on companies. Teams across the business struggled with manual, siloed and painfully ineffective legal processes. What they all had in common was that they were using multiple unconnected software solutions or relying completely on manual processes.
At the same time, Olga was exposed to the power of technological transformation as a management consultant part of McKinsey & Co’s ‘Digital Labs’. After exchanging experiences, they were inspired to create the first truly end-to-end legal platform that tackled the challenges faced by teams worldwide every day.
That’s why we built Pocketlaw with a revolutionary approach to legal software.
