Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy forms part of your Agreement with Pocketlaw and applies when you access or use Pocketlaw’s services.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Contact Pocketlaw without delay at support@pocketlaw.com if you become aware of, or suspect, any unauthorized access to your account or to Pocketlaw’s services.
- Safeguard your login details (such as usernames and passwords) and keep them confidential.
- Ensure that you have obtained all necessary rights, consents and permissions for any third-party material included in your inputs to Pocketlaw AI (PLAI).
- Review and assess the accuracy and completeness of any outputs from Pocketlaw AI (PLAI) and confirm that your use of such outputs does not infringe third-party rights.
- Only use Pocketlaw AI (PLAI) for purposes related to Pocketlaw’s services.
Prohibited actions
You must not:
- Use Pocketlaw’s services in any manner that violates, misappropriates, or infringes the rights of others, including by generating, storing, or distributing clearly inappropriate or offensive content.
- Use Pocketlaw’s services, directly or indirectly, as the sole basis for making decisions that could affect any person’s or entity’s legal rights, obligations, or access to justice.
- Use Pocketlaw’s services in any way that constitutes or substitutes for legal advice or the practice of law.
- Transfer, sell, or otherwise allow any third party to use your account, nor share accounts.
- Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise derive the underlying source code of Pocketlaw’s software, except where required by applicable law.
- Alter, adapt, translate, localize, or create derivative works based on Pocketlaw’s software.
- Employ automated tools or scripts to extract data or outputs from the services (for example, scraping or web harvesting).
- Use your access to develop a product or service that competes with Pocketlaw’s offerings.
- Use the services in any way that disrupts or attempts to disrupt their proper functioning, including by introducing viruses, malware, or other harmful code into Pocketlaw’s systems.
