Pocketlaw, the leading provider of AI-first legal tech solutions, has closed a funding round to accelerate its AI product development and expansion across Europe, addressing the rising demand for AI-driven legal solutions. The round included participation from existing investors such as Atomico, along with new investors, including one of Sweden’s leading tech entrepreneurs with global experience, Willard Ahdritz, founder of Kobalt Music Group.

Pocketlaw has significantly invested in AI over recent years, with development led by Faruk Sahin, former VP Engineering at Sana and Emil Nordh, Director of Engineering, delivering one of the market's most advanced legal tech solutions. Kira Unger Söderlind, shares: “AI has completely transformed the legal tech landscape, driving enormous demand for AI-powered solutions. Backed by our investors, we’re excited to continue developing the most prominent technology in the market”.

In just the past six months, usage has increased by over 1200%.”

Pocketlaw’s platform combines contract management with advanced AI, offering tools like contract review, playbook comparison, and data extraction to seamlessly integrate AI into workflows. Peter Coyet, CIO at Mannheimer Swartling, says: “Pocketlaw stands out for its comprehensive features and user-friendly interface. We see significant potential in their AI capabilities.”

New investor Willard Ahdritz, who will also take a seat in the company’s Board of Directors, commented: “By implementing a centralized platform for data, intellectual property, and collection technology across over 200 countries at Kobalt Music, I’ve witnessed firsthand the extensive legal work required to manage such operations. Today, legal functions have evolved from being mere cost centers to becoming critical components for scaling and driving global revenue in an increasingly complex legal environment.
